Hebei Julite Sorting Technology Co., Ltd. offers its Grain Grading Machine, an advanced solution for separating grains and seeds by size, shape, and density. By integrating mechanical sieving, gravity separation, and optional optical grading, this machine delivers uniformly graded batches essential for milling, baking, brewing, and seed certification.
Integrated Grading Process
The Grain Grading Machine combines three sequential stages:
Sieving Section: Multi-deck screens with interchangeable mesh sizes sort incoming material into uniform size fractions. Deck vibration amplitude and frequency are adjustable to prevent mesh blinding and optimize throughput.
Gravity Separation: A built-in gravity separator stratifies each size fraction by density, removing broken, immature, or low-density kernels. Controlled deck incline, oscillation, and airflow are set via the machine’s PLC/HMI system to target specific gravity cut-points.
Optional Optical Sorter: For applications requiring visual uniformity—such as specialty rice, coffee beans, or high-value seed lots—an integrated optical sorting module inspects individual kernels under LED lighting and ejects off-color or defective pieces with air jets.
Machine Features
Unified Control Interface: Operators manage screening, density separation, and optical sorting parameters from a single touchscreen panel. Preset recipes store optimal settings for different grains—wheat, barley, corn, rice, legumes—and can be recalled instantly.
Stainless-Steel Construction: All paths contacting grain use 304 or 316 stainless steel. Welds are sanitary-grade, and surfaces are polished to minimize material hang-up and facilitate cleaning.
Modular Build: Screening decks, gravity modules, and optical sorter units are skid-mounted and bolt-together, allowing facilities to upgrade or reconfigure the grading process as production needs evolve.
High Throughput Range: Available in models processing 1 t/h (pilot scale) to 20 t/h (industrial scale), meeting the demands of small seed laboratories through large grain terminals.
Applications and Advantages
Uniformly graded grain batches improve milling yields, baking quality, and brewing consistency by ensuring even moisture absorption and heat transfer. Seed producers benefit from precise size and density grading to meet certification standards and optimize germination rates. The optional optical sorting stage removes visual defects, enhancing product appeal in retail markets.
Hebei Julite Sorting Technology Co., Ltd. provides end-to-end support for the Grain Grading Machine: site evaluation, installation, commissioning, operator training, and preventive maintenance plans to keep grading operations accurate and reliable over time.
